VIRTUAL ENVIRONMENT PROJECT

During my fourth and final year at university we were given the task of creating an interior and exterior for a house. I decided to design a modern, minimalist design situated on the coast of a south Spain. The buildings and furnishings were created using Autodesk Maya. The textures maps, which consisted of colour, normal and reflective maps were created using Adobe Photoshop. Once the objects we finalised the lighting was set up and the images were rendered out in Mental ray. 

3D LEVEL DESIGN PROJECT

This project was also created during my fourth year at university. The brief for this particular project was design a 3D level with strong visuals and interesting game mechanics. Although some asset packs within UE4 were used to reduce work load, most of the environment was created by myself. To the right are some screenshots of the guild hall that was created for this project. The models were created and UV unwrapped using Autodesk Maya LT. The texture maps including, Base colour, Metallic, Smoothness, and normal maps were created using Adobe Photoshop. The scene was then compiled in Unreal Engine 4.
